Interior of a school hallway featuring a vibrant mural depicting students engaged in various activities, adjacent to a display case and bulletin boards with information and notices.

Dozens of students, staff and community members visited the GBAPS District Office Building on Monday, October 27, for games, treats and a mural unveiling.

Students had the opportunity to play games, collect prizes, and take home treats and books.

Families also enjoyed tours of the DOB and visited with various departments to learn more about what staff do for families in the District.

The Portrait of a Graduate mural was also unveiled in a brief ceremony.

Director of Engagement Ingrid Parker-Hill shared details of the project and thanked Latosha Greenleaf from Urban Cultural Arts for the collaboration.

Students and staff have been painting tiles for the mural since the Welcome Back GBAPS event in August.
