Students from Kennedy Elementary and MacArthur Elementary Schools came together at Pamperin Park in May for some fun in the sun with new friends!

Each grade from both schools spent time together getting to know one another before they all join up at Starr Elementary School next year.

Students spent time in groups by grade playing games like Duck, Duck, Goose. Their teachers also shared topics or subjects and the students who all identified with those things jumped up and down and saw peers they could relate to. For example: I ride the bus to school. My favorite color is pink. I have siblings, etc.

Later, students were able to play together on the playground and make new friends.
